Katie + Josia [married!] Temecula, California

I am so excited to share Katie + Josia’s wedding photos. You may remember them from their fun filled engagement session around Redlands, California. These two are so awesome and I am lucky to have met them. You can see their love for each other as soon as you meet them and Katie calls Josia by some nickname like her beau. They bring a spark to not only each other, but to the people surrounding them. Thank you for letting me be a part of such a special day and for making it so memorable! Love you both.

Off to MEXICO!

Well, yesterday was the most amazing day of my life. I married my best friend under a big oak tree with out closest friends and family. I could not have asked for anything more perfect.
Now Jason and I are off to Mexico for our honeymoon… So excited to just relax after all that planning. I’m sure I will have photos to post when we get back, but until then I will not be checking my email, so please forgive the delayed responses.

Mexico here we come!!

Goodbye March… Citrus

Thank you to the lovely and incredibly creative Kimberly for your perfect suggestion of ‘citrus’. If you aren’t familiar with this time of year in the Redlands area, not only is it probably the prettiest season here with mild weather and green rolling hills, but it is also the time when all the orange groves bloom and fill the air with their sweet scent. It is quite wonderful :) I hope you all enjoy this month’s collage and keep sending in your suggestions because you could be the next to win if I pick your idea!

The Creme – Wedding Event

The Cream was such an awesome event filled with creative vendors ranging from photographers, calligraphers to ice cream makers. Let’s just say I sampled all of the goodies :) I would suggest going to this event next year or at their other locations around the country if you are engaged, are in the wedding industry, or just want to go see some great vendors all in one location. Here are a few shots I got from last night…

Oh, they also had a dance contest with a prize of three nights in PARIS! It was amazing!

Goodbye February… Pink!

February is the month of love, so I decided it was perfectly reasonable to show my girly side. Enjoy the shades of pink!

**Submit your ideas for March now! Whatever you would like to see me do for a collage and if I select your idea you will get a free 12×12 print sent to you!

Jim + Cat [engaged!] Los Angeles, California

Jim and Cat took me on a small adventure throughout LA with stops at Union Station, Sunset Blvd, which lead to an obviously necessary stop at Intelligentsia Coffee followed by LACMA and my first time to view Chris Burden’s ‘Urban Light’ instillation. If you haven’t been to any of these locations I would highly suggest them. While on this adventure I had time to get to know Jim and Cat a bit more as individuals and as a couple. What I found is that they are amazingly interesting. They met while in college in San Francisco and now work for the same nonprofit company located here in Southern California. Both of them seem very ambitious and passionate about what they do. They are the ‘go getters’ of the world and I can’t wait to see what they do in the future together. Alright, now on to the photos…

Goodbye January… Coast!

It has been a busy couple of months with Thanksgiving, Christmas, weddings, getting engaged, New Years, more weddings, my birthday, and of course planning my own wedding. So, with all that happening it seems necessary to get away a little bit and have a relaxing beach day. This collage is for everyone else that has had a crazy few months. Enjoy the coast with me…

Ali + Andrew [married!] Park City, Utah

I have known Ali and Andrew since high school. Ali is one of those unforgettable people full of smiles and laughter and Andrew is a fantastic photographer who has been published for his stunning snow sports photography. These two live in beautiful Salt Lake City and chose to get married on one of Park City’s ski hills. Not only did all the guests get to ride the chairlift up, but they also got to ride the alpine slide down after the reception. It was amazing! Thank you so much to Ali and Andrew for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day. Here we go…

Goodbye December… SNOW!

It is the last day of the year and it seems like just yesterday that I was posting last December’s collage. So much has happened in the last year that it seems like just a blur, but an amazing blur! This Christmas has been one of the best and I have been on vacation for two weeks now, so what could be a better for a Southern California girl than a white Christmas… and so this month’s collage theme is SNOW! Even though no one officially suggested it I really couldn’t avoid it. I hope you guys enjoy it.

It has been a fantastic year of collages with all of your suggestions and I can’t wait to see what happens this next year, so please continue to submit your suggestions!

I hope you all have a fun filled New Year’s Eve and bring in 2012 in style! I am off to run a 5k through the freezing Portland, Oregon streets… should be fun.
